About the Role:
Liberty Solutions has a client who is seeking a highly experienced Certified Epic Beaker AP Project Analyst to support an Epic Beaker implementation. This role requires a dependable, hands-on analyst with deep knowledge of hospital inpatient and outpatient laboratory operations, Anatomic Pathology workflows, laboratory information systems, and healthcare interoperability. The ideal candidate is a proven and AP Certified Epic Beaker professional who understands what needs to be done, can work independently, delivers high-quality results, and brings a calm, efficient, flexible, and collaborative approach. This person must be comfortable partnering with lab leadership, frontline laboratory staff, IT teams, interface teams, vendors, and project stakeholders to translate operational needs into effective Epic Beaker build, workflow, and implementation outcomes.

Project Duration: Fall 2026 - Spring 2028. 
Travel: Onsite approximately one week per month, and anytime Epic is onsite. Also, for several weeks around the cutover in March 2028.
Working hours: National candidates should adhere to normal business hours between 8 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. Eastern Time.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support Epic Beaker AP implementation activities, including workflow analysis, build validation, testing, documentation, issue resolution, and go-live preparation.
  • Partner with inpatient and outpatient laboratory teams to understand current-state workflows, identify gaps, and support future-state workflow design.
  • Apply hands-on knowledge of Anatomic Pathology operations, LIS functionality, and Epic Beaker AP build to ensure solutions are practical, accurate, and operationally sound.
  • Collaborate with interface, integration, and technical teams to support interoperability needs across healthcare systems, laboratory systems, instruments, and downstream applications.
  • Create clear documentation, including workflow diagrams, functional specifications, build notes, testing plans, issue logs, and decision tracking.
  • Provide steady, reliable project support while helping drive tasks forward with minimal oversight.
Required Qualifications:
  • Current Epic Beaker AP certification is required.
  • Hands-on Epic Beaker AP implementation experience is required.
  • Strong understanding of hospital-based inpatient and outpatient lab operations and workflows is required.
  • Demonstrated understanding of healthcare interoperability, including interfaces, orders, results, downstream systems, and cross-application workflow impacts.
  • Ability to communicate clearly, solve problems efficiently, and operate effectively in a complex, fast-moving project environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience supporting large-scale Epic implementations, optimizations, or lab system transitions.
